Safety Do’s & Don’ts

  • Before moving garbage bins or containers, ensure that the Bin Tug is in good working order. Make sure casters and wheels are properly maintained before operating.
  • Never tow any more than a 2% incline. If the unit loses power or the hitch is not properly attached, the garbage bin or container may roll downhill and cause damage or injury.
  • Never pull garbage bins or containers downhill. It could disconnect and cause damage or injury if not properly attached or the unit loses power. Only push Bin Tug downhill if necessary.
