Electrical System

The Bin Tug’s electrical system provides both power and control to the drive system. Key components include:

The Bin Tug operates on a 24-volt DC electrical system, powered by two 12-volt batteries. For convenient charging, a built-in AC powered battery charger allows you to simply plug the unit into any standard AC outlet using the provided power cord. To charge the system, the Bin Tug must be switched to the off position, as it cannot be operated while charging.
